Croeso yn ol! Welcome back! It’s been lovely meeting my new year twos. The children have settled into their new surroundings and have been getting used to their new routines.  

In literacy we have been revising letter formation and ordering our alphabet. We have also ordered words alphabetically. In numeracy the pupils have been revising number formation, recording number bonds to 20, recognising odds and evens and recognising place value. Our topic will be ‘People who help us’, so the children have been listing those people and creating their own topic title page in their journey books.  

Some dates: P.E will take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Forest school will be alternate Fridays starting in October. I will keep you update of the actual start date. Reading: We will listen to your child at least twice a week. Home reading books will be changed once a week after they have been read three times, and three comments are made at home. Diolch!
