Croeso! A very warm welcome back to the new academic year from Dosbarth Tri! This week, the children have had a fantastic start, settling in beautifully and exploring their new classroom with excitement. Together, they created and signed our class charter, setting the tone for a positive and respectful year ahead. Our class text this week has been ‘Have You Filled Your Bucket Today?’ by Carol McCloud. The children have enjoyed discussing how to be a bucket filler—someone who spreads kindness and positivity. They’ve written thoughtful lists on how to fill someone’s bucket, and their next step will be to write clear instructions. Our topic this term is ‘I Am the One and Only!’ The children have loved sharing interesting facts about themselves and learning about what makes us all unique. As part of this, we've been exploring the importance of names and are getting creative by designing canvas acrylic artwork featuring our initials—watch this space for the finished pieces! To top it all off, the children have completed their entries for the Usk Show—we’re so proud of their efforts.
